AI Clipper Pricing Compared (2026)

Two tools both “about $30/mo” can mean totally different workloads. This page translates public price cards into billing units so you can estimate cost from your monthly source hours and finished-clip count.

Three billing models

Source minutes / credits

Opus Clip, Vizard (1 credit ≈ 1 minute processed). Long podcasts burn credits even if you only keep 5 shorts.

Finished clips / month

Klap, EasySlice. You care about how many exports you publish, plus any source-length caps.

Hybrid credits

Cliphi (process + render), Videotto (shared pool across clipping/motion). Math depends on clip length and which features you touch.

Rough sanity check: take your monthly long-form hours × 60. If a credit equals one source minute, that is your floor before renders/exports.

Worked example (illustrative only)

Suppose you publish 4 hours of podcast audio/video per month and keep ~20 Shorts (~45 seconds each).

  • Opus/Vizard-style: ~240 source minutes → needs at least ~240 credits for processing alone (before any re-runs).
  • Klap-style: 20 finished clips fits Basic’s 100-clip yearly plan easily—if each source file is under the tier’s length cap.
  • Cliphi-style: ~240 process credits + render cost (20 × 45s × 0.25 ≈ 225 credits) ≈ ~465 credits total for that month’s keepers (previews/find-more called free in help docs).

Numbers are arithmetic on published formulas—not a promise of identical in-app metering.

FAQ

Which AI clipper is cheapest?

No universal winner. Low source hours + many short clips favor per-clip plans; huge source libraries with few keepers can punish minute-based plans. Run your own hours through the table.

Do you have discount codes?

No. We do not invent coupons. Check each vendor’s site or email list.
